Finding Strength without Over-confidence

When our courage fails, it is easy to feel inferior, and may need the affirmation of others. This is especially true for those of us who are emotionally unstable.

As students of Buddhism, when we face obstacles, we should have faith in the three treasures (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha) to gain strength, confidence and courage to overcome difficulties.

If we are too confident, we can become prone to arrogance. Arrogant people are usually only happy about their own performance. They can hurt a lot of people because of their over-confidence.
